Ways, decisions, choices

1 08 2008

So many of them, from the moment we get up in the morning till the moment we lay down at night there are hundred of choices that we have to make. Some of them as simple as choosing between brushing or not brushing our teeth which doesn’t have a huge impact in your destiny to other choices that can turn your world upside down. So many of them… I want to be led to the choices that are best for me, I have realized that I am not able to do it on my own..

Rand… Choose today whom you will serve.

Sometimes it sucks

16 07 2008

Life is good but it sometimes sucks specially when things are not the way you want then to be. It also sucks when you want to do stuff and don’t do them and other things that you do want to do, you skip them. I’m a bit upset with myself and my current situation.

Having said that, God is good.

God of Pepsi, God of all things.

Unbelievable how God cares of even the smallest things in our lives. If you know me, I like Pepsi, it is my beverage of choice. I prefer pepsi over coke, hands down. So, here I was in Wal-Mart my friend Ben, we went around and bought some stuff that we needed… you know, bread, milk, cheetos. We also bought one of those roasted chickens that they sell there for just a few bucks. We rented a movie called King of California at the Redbox in Wal-Mart, not exactly the movie we had in mind but all the others were out, it ended being a really good movie and it was worth the wait, people take a long time choosing movies there. After getting the movie we walked outside the store and headed to the car when we got to the parking lot… there it was… it was weird… a blue can… rolling through the road. I thought, that can has to be full, it’s going at a different pace than the one it would have if it were empty. I kept walking, Ben did not see the can rolling, but he took a left heading to where the car was parked. As I walked behind him, there it came… a full can of Pepsi, rolled right in front of me and stopped at my feet. It could have been Coke, Mountain Dew or even Diet Pepsi. But no, it was a full can of Pepsi, nice and cold. I stooped down and picked it up, there was no one around, no one claiming it. We walked to the car and then, that was it, I realized how God cares about us. He knows I don’t specifically need a Pepsi, but he sure knows I like them and he loves to bless us. If a good father gives good things to his children, how much more would God, the perfect image of a Father would delight himself on giving us, His dear children, something that will make us happy and remind us that no matter what we go through, He is there, looking… loving us with all that He is.Father, Thank you for my Pepsi. I love You.
